Amazon Mobile iphone Application ~ Beer Coasters For Sale

I love my iphone 3G. I love it like I love my own children (ok, that may be going a bit far). In fact, I love all MAC technology and always have. I’ve probably owned most everything Apple has ever come out with. I’ve been a MAC girl from the time they were an apple blossom in Steve Jobs eye.
My hubby and I are always checking out any new apps that come along for the iphone. Some are lame and some are quite cool. Last night, he forwarded an email from an Amazon application he had been playing with.
Amazon Mobile is an iphone application that you can download for free. You can search for something on Amazon in the traditional way, via keywords, and make purchases using your existing account. You can also use “Amazon Remembers” a function that allows you to take a picture of something and create a visual reminder list. Amazon stores the list on both the mobile app and your personal Amazon.com site. Here is the really cool part… Amazon has people search for the item using your picture!
Last night, John was in a bar playing with the photo search and took a picture of a Shiner Bock coaster. This is the email he got back…
